Your last quiet moment before live.

Take a few minutes to inspect what your audience will actually see and hear. Your checks are saved in this browser when local storage is available. They are not sent to a server or shared across devices. Checking every box is a preparation aid, not a guarantee of broadcast quality.

01The right scene is readyOpen Starting Soon first. Check that your name, handle, and message are correct and no placeholder text remains.02Every file loadsVisit Starting, BRB, Ending, and your live scene. Look for missing images, blank browser sources, and cropped text.03Camera and game sit inside the layoutCheck the camera opening, source order, and readable gameplay. Lock finished sources to avoid accidental movement.04Your microphone is clearMake a short local recording with normal speech and your loudest game audio. Listen back for clipping, echo, or an unexpectedly muted microphone.05Private information stays privateClose personal tabs and notifications. Check your capture area for emails, addresses, passwords, and payment details.06Your broadcast settings are intentionalConfirm the correct destination, title, category, canvas, and output settings. Keep your stream key out of screenshots.07Scene changes behave correctlySwitch to BRB and back. Confirm what viewers will see and hear; decorative scene motion is not a real countdown or stream-status indicator.08You have a recovery sceneKeep a simple BRB scene ready if a capture or camera fails. Save your scene collection and keep a backup of your pack and exported HTML.

Test the transition, not just the screenshot.

A beautiful still image can hide a missing source in another scene or audio that continues on BRB. Record a short rehearsal: start on Starting Soon, move to the live scene, take a break, and finish on Ending. Listen and watch it back before broadcasting.

If something fails, return to a simple scene, confirm the file path or capture device, and rebuild one source at a time. The pack supplies visuals; your audio routing, streaming destination, and broadcast settings remain part of your OBS setup.
