About Forge World Gaming
Forge World Gaming is a small independent game-server hosting operation run from Canada, billing in Canadian dollars, with its servers on one machine in Chicago, Illinois, United States. This page says who you are dealing with, what you would be buying and what nobody is promising you. It is written from the Service Terms and the product pages only; if a fact is not in those, it is not here.
Who runs Forge World Gaming
Forge World Gaming is the operating name of a small independent game-server hosting operation reachable at fwg.world. It operates from Canada and bills in Canadian dollars. That is the full description, and it is short on purpose: this page carries no founding story, no headcount and no customer count, because none of those appears in the Service Terms or on the product pages, and this page is written from those documents alone.
What has been published is how the service is arranged, and that is set out below. If you are deciding whether to hand over a card, the useful questions are what you get, where it runs and what nobody is promising you, so those come first. Where anything here differs from the Service Terms, the terms are what apply.
What we sell
The product is a game server, and only that. An active plan gives you one game server of the size shown on its product page, with access to the game panel: console, file manager, SFTP, scheduled tasks and power controls. Plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars at the price shown on the product page at the time you order, and there is no setup fee. After payment, setup details or next steps are emailed within 24 hours.
Player-slot counts on the product pages describe the configuration Forge World Gaming sets up, not a measured performance guarantee. Actual performance depends on your mods, plugins, world size and player behaviour. The site publishes 17 game availability pages and 28 setup guides; compare the games first, and read the guides before you order rather than after. If a first server is not what you needed, the Refund Policy gives you 48 hours to say so, once per customer.
Where it runs
Servers run in Chicago, Illinois, United States. That is one region for now, and the product pages say so instead of drawing a map full of flags. Forge World Gaming itself operates from Canada and bills in Canadian dollars, so the machine and the operation are on different sides of the border. Where your players sit in relation to Chicago is worth weighing before you order.
Forge World Gaming currently operates a single machine. There is no failover to a second machine and no secondary region: if that machine is unavailable, your server is unavailable. That is the arrangement today, stated the same way in the Service Terms, and it is a fair reason for some buyers to choose a larger host. If you are ordering from Canada, the page for Canadian players covers the same location and pricing facts from that side of the border.
What we do not promise
Forge World Gaming does not offer a service-level agreement. In this release there is no uptime percentage, no guaranteed response time, no restoration estimate, no compensation or credit for downtime, and no monitoring or status page. Those are not gaps this page is hiding; they are the terms of the deal, and the Service Terms state them in full.
Two more things are not promised. Player-slot counts are a configuration, not a performance figure, because performance depends on what you run on the server. And included backups are stored on the same infrastructure as your server: they are not off-site, and they will not survive a failure of that machine, so keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. A page that told you otherwise would be more comfortable to read and would be wrong.
How the service is put together
Three addresses, each doing one job. fwg.world is this site: the game pages, the setup guides and the documents you are reading now. billing.fwg.world is the Paymenter storefront, where accounts, orders, invoices and support tickets live. panel.fwg.world is the game panel, where you control the server itself: console, file manager, SFTP, scheduled tasks and power controls. Ordering happens on the storefront; running the server happens on the panel.
Your game data is yours. Forge World Gaming accesses it only to run and support the service, to investigate an abuse report, or where required by law; the privacy notice covers the rest of what is collected and why. Support is a ticket desk on the storefront, reached after you sign in, so there is a written record on both sides. It is a small arrangement, described here at its actual size.
Company details still being completed
The formal entity name and registered address behind Forge World Gaming are not published yet; they are being completed. Until they appear, correspondence goes through the authenticated ticket desk on the storefront, which means signing in or creating an account first. If you need those details before you order — for an expense claim, or because you simply want to know who you are paying — ask for them in a ticket and say why. The ticket is also the right place if a detail on this page no longer matches what the terms or the product pages say. The Service Terms say the same thing in their own words.
The Service Terms, not this page, govern the contract for every order placed through billing.fwg.world.
